
Superior School District families. We are seeing an increase in illness in our district, please be sure to keep your student home if they are feeling ill. Here is a list of symptoms for a few of the illnesses as reported by the Mineral County Health Department. Thank you and stay healthy!
Strep:
The most common symptoms of strep throat include:
• Sore throat that can start very quickly
• Pain when swallowing
• Fever
• Red and swollen tonsils, sometimes with white patches or streaks of pus
• Tiny red spots on the roof of the mouth
• Swollen lymph nodes in the front of the neck
Influenza:
The most common symptoms of influenza include:
• Fever* or feeling feverish/chills
• Cough
• Sore throat
• Runny or stuffy nose
• Muscle or body aches
• Headaches
• Fatigue (tiredness)
• Some people may have vomiting and diarrhea, though this is more common in children than adults
Covid
The most common symptoms of Covid include:
• Fever or chills
• Cough
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Fatigue
• Muscle or body aches
• Headache
• New loss of taste or smell
• Sore throat
• Congestion or runny nose
• Nausea or vomiting
• Diarrhea

The SHS Business Professionals of America are putting on their annual Thanksgiving Turkey Bingo! Come play some games of bingo on Sunday, November 20th at 4 pm in the elementary gym. Welcome to all ages. Play to win a turkey, ham, and other prizes!

Auditions for MCT today will go from 4:00-5:45pm. A few students will stay later for rehearsal depending on what part they are cast in. More information about when they need to be here the rest of the week will be sent home today depending on their part!

There will be a High School Winter Sports Parent Meeting will be Wednesday, Nov. 16th at 6:00pm in the High School Gym.

Superior High School GEAR UP sophomores traveled to Dillion to visit Western Montana College and Idaho Falls to tour Eastern Idaho College.

Reminder tomorrow is the JH/HS student in good standing trip. We are headed to Westside Lanes and Fun Center. Students can bring money for food, arcade and any extra bowling. Students earned this trip during first quarter. If students did not meet this criteria they will not attend the trip and have a normal school day.

Today the Bobcats will take on Forsyth for the first round of the playoffs at 1:00pm in Superior. Admission to the game will be $7 for adults and $6 for students, these prices are set by MHSA. Regular season passes will not be accepted during the post season. If you would like to purchase your ticket prior to the game use to QR code in the image to purchase online!
